For all the beauty of the South & the wilderness of the Waimea canyon in the East, we completely fell in love with the North Shore in the Hanalei bay, because it beautifully integrates the best of fantastic wild beaches, beautiful lush plants, stunning coastline, great snorkeling, safe surfing and exhilarating kite boarding. We approached Hanalei from the lighthouse which gave us a great view of what we were about to explore:
